Scotland Yard has warned that London is facing a threat of a Mumbai-style terror attack in key locations through London. Senior detective from the Metropolitan Police’s counter-terrorism command warned that “Mumbai is coming to London”.

The Sunday Times reported earlier this Monday that a terrorist cell may be preparing an attack on London early in 2010.

In November last year, 10 heavily-armed gunmen carried out terrorist attacks in various locations throughout Mumbai, killing 166 people and leaving 304 wounded.
