Fidel Castro made an appearance on television Monday night discussing events from around the world, after having spent years out of public view.
The from Cuban leader discussed about the growing tensions between the United States and Iran as well as North Korea, suggesting that escalations could trigger a global nuclear war. The 83-year-old made the comments on Mesa Redonda (Round Table) a daily talk show.
The interview lasted around 75 minutes and involved Castro discussing a variety of events around the world including how an attack on Iran would be “catastrophic for America.”
The former leader made similar comments in his latest Reflections only a week ago:
The ex President of Cuba, Fidel Castro noted in his recent writings titled “The impossible happiness,” that a confrontation with the United States and Israel against Iran will unleash a “catastrophic” nuclear war.
The show was broadcast on Cubavision, Cubavision Internacional as well as on Radio Rebelde and Radio Habana Cuba.
