A recently published report by the RC-Institute for Global Individuation, declares “The Global State of Emergency” warning that: “Humanity has 9 years left to take drastic measures.”
The state of humanity and the earth today is atrocious, and no longer merely a question of climate change or global warming. The elaborate web of chaos is dramatic – billions of people suffering and billions of dollars wasted, lost or misspent:
“One-third (2,3bn) of the world’s population is under-fed and starving… 1 billion analphabets; 4 billion people have insufficient education, are [thus] not prepared for the future… Estimated yearly costs of climate change: 90 billion Euros and 300,000 deaths… 3.2 billion people will experience water shortages due to climate change… The global financial crisis has slashed the value of financial assets by 50 trillion dollars (2008)… In 2009 the world has 793 billionaires and the net worth of these billionaires stands at US$2.4 trillion… 3 billion people in the world today struggle to survive on US$2/day…”
The report clearly documents a dramatic picture and unveils the discrepancy between misspent funds and the soaring expenditure on wars and militarization of our world: “Military expenditure is increasing fast; money spent this year until August: US$2,574,138,419.” The report also reveals the mind numbing figures behind the war in Iraq and Afghanistan: “The cost of the Iraq War (2001-August 2009) plus the War in Afghanistan: US$898,075,009,835… Iraq War victims: 1 million dead; 4.5 million displaced; 5 million orphans; 1-2 million widows.”
Based on the facts exposed in the report, the Institute predicts that “the total collapse and the Third World War are guaranteed”.
