Reports from PressTV state that senior Iranian lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi said that the “US is facing Soviet-like disintegration” warning the US of imminent collapse.
“America’s conduct toward the world bears great resemblance to that of the Soviet Union before its disintegration,” Fars News Agency quoted the head of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission as saying on Friday.
“I believe the United States today is going through disintegration just like the former Soviet [Union] and this collapse is easy to see and sense.”
Boroujerdi is not the first to warn of a US collapse, with Russian Professor Igor Panarin having first warned of the US collapse over ten years ago. The Russian professor stated only last year that the “US will completely collapse like the Soviet Union before the end of 2010″.
Panarin is a former KGB analyst and dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s academy for future Diplomats.
